Project: Safe Voice AOF

P508_Safe_Voice_AOF is an organisation-specific pilot project under the central P505 Safe Voice Programme. It is designed to support the Abosede Omoyeni Foundation in presenting, strengthening, funding and governing its whole community support offering, including education, health, nutrition, maternal support, menstrual dignity, child welfare, community empowerment and wider social development. The project recognises AOF as a young Nigerian nonprofit with a broad social mission: bringing practical support, hope and development opportunities to underserved communities. Its visible work includes educational support, health and well-being activity, nutrition support, maternity outreach, children’s activities, book outreach, menstrual hygiene support and community-based empowerment. Within this pilot, Safe Voice is not treated as a separate replacement for AOF’s identity. Instead, it acts as a PHC governance and funding-readiness framework around AOF’s whole offering. The project will help AOF describe its work clearly, identify its priority needs, organise its activities into fundable project elements, document evidence, capture Concerns, define Actions, map People and partners, track Deliverables, and present progress through PHC Port. The pilot will also support careful development of Safe Voice functions where relevant to AOF’s work. These may include structured community listening, safer beneficiary feedback, concern capture, safeguarding awareness, family support, school/community engagement, maternal and child welfare reporting, and routes through which vulnerable people can be heard without being exposed publicly or handled carelessly. P508_Safe_Voice_AOF will therefore function as both a support project for AOF and a test case for the wider Safe Voice model. It will show how a community-based organisation can use PHC structure to become more visible, more fundable, more accountable and more capable of scaling its social impact without losing its local character.
