Intergenerational Living Development

Intergenerational Living Development ?

Affordable Intergenerational Housing | United Kingdom
Intergenerational Living Development is a PHC-serviced project exploring new ways for generations of the same family, and potentially wider groups of households, to live independently while sharing selected land, facilities and resources. The project is investigating architecture, affordability, ownership, planning, finance and community arrangements that could enable younger households to gain greater housing security while older generations remain independent and closely connected. The initial concept will be tested through a practical family-scale demonstrator, with the longer-term objective of developing a repeatable model suitable for larger developments and different locations.
